"Dorner case shows folly of arming oneself to combat government."

Another collectivist citizen disarmament crank shows his ignorance of military affairs.

I would have left the following comment, but it seemed like a waste of energy:

"Dorner was one person and tied up LAPD almost exclusively for a week. The Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto with a dozen or two random firearms among 50-some-odd people largely unfamiliar with firearms halted the entire Northern German Army for five weeks and everyone knew exactly where they were. Imagine what the police would do with 30,000 or more well-armed American hunters who decided enough was enough. Imagine that it's not 30,000, but 400,000."

Hmmm.
I think he shot 4 cops before they got him.
Let's see.....1 million heavily armed really pissed of Americans x 4 cops each.
Better start hiring way more cops if you intend on disarming Americans at gunpoint or otherwise denying them their liberty.
That will leave another 10 to 20 million not so heavily armed Americans that weren't so pissed off, but are now.
Hmmm...What to do...

The BALLOT BOX becomes a JOKE when the uneducated masses are voting for President SANTA CLAUS to keep giving them freebies that YOU and I pay for. The MEDIA make fun and poke jokes at anyone who might possibly have enough backbone to challenge the Santa Claus mentality of the gomers in Government. I think that the 5th Column (the media) are on the side of the Socialist in Chief in DC.

He made a couple of serious mistakes.

First he killed innocents. Should've stuck to his real enemies . . . and started at the top.

The second, and more serious, was letting himself become surrounded. A rabbit can't have too many hidey holes.

I believe this article is actually a good sign. I believe this writer was sent out there by the administration, in a desperate attempt, to try and prevent us from seeing this case for what it really was... That being, what only one determined individual could do against the entire LA police department. They want to prevent us from becoming Motivated by what was an obvious disaster for the collectivist side.

Interesting to read the posts from the progtards who attempt to elevate their inane and specious arguments by claiming to be "more intelligent" or "better enlightened" than "gun nuts" and "conservatives". Laughable considering history and reality are against them.

Remember the history of the Civil War . At the end when all was lost Jefferson Davis ordered his troops to strip off their uniforms and fight a guerrilla war. Lincoln new he would win militarily but never politically.Time was against him. It was Lee that had the South to stand down

I totally disagree. Dorner was not a law abiding citizen being unjustly denied his Constitutional rights. He was a murdering madman.

100 million gunowners will soon show the folly of government going to war against the people.

We only have the word of the cops and the "mainstream media" for any of it. He might have been just that, or the real story might be something else again altogether. I don't think we'll ever really know.

It is sad to see people jump to judgment without the facts to confirm it. What happened to "innocent until proven guilty?"

Yes, he shot at the cops... we're told... and this might be no different than what we envision when "they" come to confiscate our guns.

WE DO NOT KNOW what really happened here.

Pretty easy to tire the LA PD. You just have to get a few guys to split up, and cause trouble in different parts of the city and leave. Then a few hours later, cause trouble elsewhere. You'll have them up 24/7 until they get so tired, they don't know what to do. All this can be done with only a handful of people. But that is only a guess.

Believe nothing promoted by the media or the government.
Until someone can explain the government purchsae of 1.6 billion rounds of .40HP ammo, one can only surmise ulterior motives are involved.
Acquire all the ammo you can afford and all the paperless weapons you can buy.
We won't start it, but we will finish it.
Their tactics will not be linear; prepare comm lists to notify your friends when one is "examined" for contraband.
Have a plan to attack from their rear.
Draw them out with false 911's for weapons stashes...I think the Libs called it Swatting...time to use it on them.

One thing is absolute. The evidence is out there that one or more cops who were at the siege said "Burn him" .."Burn that motherfucker".

Hmmm, where have we seen that before?
The fact is, the gang mentality of LEO's who are bearing down on an allegeded "criminal" is like a pack of mad rabid dogs, no different than a mad rabid criminal. What I saw and heard on various videos made me sick. These are not men. These are vicious animals are trained for one thing. Kill first. Ask questions later. And don't give me that shit about protecting lives. I've seen enough of their murdering ways in the last ten years to prove it. After all..just go to youtube. Make my day.

that was outnumbered how many to one? Imagine what will happen when the odds aren't so skewed, even if it is only 3% of all firearm owners they end up facing.

Exactly. "Station Defense" is one such duty initiated when major threats come to officers directly. In these cases, it isn't so much as one man causing a reorganization. It could be one group. What law enforcement wants to happen in these cases is to identify the offender and lock him down to one location. Identify, fix location, isolate and prosecute.

If the threat is multifaceted and unfixable, they will tire out. Any group would. In the case of the LAPD, they went on TAC alert - 12 on and 12 off. Very rigorous duty. Unsustainable for long periods.

The Dorner thing actually showed the opposite point, just how fragile the system is and that one man can make a difference.

All politics aside it ought to stand as a warning, there are a lot of people, millions in fact as angry and determined as this guy and at least as well trained and armed

Tread warily

Typical...let them continue to live in their dreamland.

At which point they start shooting delivery women.

Excellent treatment of the perils of extreme fatigue in the old movie: "The Bedford Incedent".

But Dorner didn't just tie up LAPD. There were county and state people tied up as well including game wardens. Now imagine if Dorner had not made the mistakes he made and had a few people minding his back and/or prepared to stir things up to draw the focus away from his position. Bottom line is that few departments in this country are prepared to function after more than a few days on Alpha/Bravo duty and it wouldn't take much after that to push them into a state of collapse.

The Ministry of Propaganda has to work overtime to minimize this, but anyone with half a brain understands the real picture here. Doesn't look too good for the ruling class and its minions...

I think it may be even worse than it looks.

Imagine Obama goes full Joe Stalin and you're a gun confiscating goon performing a 3 AM operation. You find you need back-up and make a phone call. The phone rings three times and the answering machine picks up. You get a message that the President is resting for his fund raiser in Las Vegas tomorrow and will get back to you when he returns.

Two or three domestic Bengahzis and the morale of the Gestapo is likely to go way, way south.

Not that the future for anybody is going to be pleasant.
